Papua New Guinea ready to host APEC world leaders meeting in Port Moresby

Papua New Guinea is ready to host the World Leaders APEC Meeting in 2018. In lead up to the World leaders meeting, 78 Senior government Official Meetings will be held in the capital of Papua New Guinea -Port Moresby where 1,500 delegates are expected to attend the first meeting in next two weeks and onward.
 Papua New Guinea – a nation comprises of 8 million population and 800+, a diverse culture feeling so excited to see many APEC CEO and the World Leaders coming into the country. 

Hosting of such magnitude of meeting will be the first in the country and it go down the history book of the nation.

The preparation is going well under the leadership of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill. The Chair, Co-Chair, or Vice Chair leaders have been appointed.

The Presidents of USA, Russia, China and other World Leaders for the first time will be making history by stepping their first legs on Papua New Guinea soil and the nation is prepared to welcome them in a true Melanesian Spirit. The World will be focused towards Papua New Guinea for the first time as well.

The APEC infrastructure development and welcome preparation are well underway which will reflect the nation’s diverse cultural way of life.

The Prime Minister Peter O’Neill is doing all the best available to him to treat the World Leaders and the delegations in the true spirit of Melanesian.

Dr Albert Schram Press Release On His Termination

The main reason behind Dr Albert Schram's termination is Academic Credential. The Papua New Guinea University of Technology Council ( https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1719234091472961&id=100001591617361) in their final verdict claim that Dr Albert Schram’s PhD Certificate design/ format and logo is differ from the two different PhD certificate copies before the University Council Members and discrepancies in CV.

Dr Albert Schram have requested the European University Institute (EUI) to send two original PhD certificate copies. One was send to Papua New Guinea University of Technology camp while other one was send to Cairn home –Australia.

He then submitted the original certificate to the Papua New Guinea University  of Technology Registrar and the Registrar should have presented the document before the University Council but mislead the Council Members.Merely the Registrar fail to produce the PhD certificate which Dr Albert Schram handed over to him.

Dr Albert Schram said his PhD degree thesis is on EUI website (http://cadmud.eui.eui//handle/1814/5972).

He further claim that on 13th January 2015, the Papua New Guinea University of Technology renewal his contract base on the PhD certificate produced.

The public is confuse as to who to believe because University Council and Dr Albert Schram have dissimilar views on his Academic Credential.

If Dr Albert Schram’s PhD certificate was fake; why did the pervious Papua New Guinea University of Technology Council fail initially in recruitment exercise?  Or, Why did the University Council renewal his contract in 2015?

He claim that his overseas travel budget is approved by Council and he was only accessing the funds to do business travel. He further said he never lie.

Dr Albert Schram claim that he was unfairly treated and seeking the independent mind – the PNG Court to deal with the case.

Termination of Dr Albert Schram as Vice Chancellor of Papua New Guinea University of Technology

The University Council have reached unanimous decsion to terminate the contract of Dr Albert Schram as Vice Chancellor of Papua New Guinea University of Technology effect as of 15th February 2018.

The grounds of his termination arise from the  following four serious allegations:

1.Non-provision of Verified Academic Credential.
Dr Albert Schram Academic Credential has been questioned since 2012 which lead to students protest in support of Dr Albert Schram.Since 2012 he has all the time in the world to produce his Academic Credential yet he fail to produce one.

The University Council claim that the copy of his PhD certificate produce before the Council differs from the European University Institute (EUI) in format, design and the logo. The Council presented two different copies of PhD certificates of EUI, he was lost for words. The Council further claim that the citation of University of Harvard on the certificate instead of Harvard University. Dr Albert Schram claim that they're all clerical error which University Council believes in third wisdom as all lie.

2. Constant Overseas Trips on Vague of University Business
The report claim that he has constant overseas travel on the University's expense. One such trip to South Africa between December 2014 to January 2015 to attend Commonwealth General Meeting of the Association of the Commonwealth Universities. The meeting was only for two day but he stay there for two months.

He spent more time overseas than at the University. He was using emails, Skype or phone to conduct University business.

3. Engagement of Incompetent Consultants
He engage services of Consultants at high fees. Some of them stand in for him while he was in overseas and service they provided were not money worth.

4. Engagement of a Lawyer
He engage a service of a lawyer for his personal interest.

There were many issues established through the investigation and as a result the Papua New Guinea University  of Technology Council have reached unanimous decsion to terminate the service of Dr Albert Schram effect as of 15th February 2018.
