Former Prime Minister Hon. Peter O'Neill in Deep Silence on 2022 NGE

Former Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill in deep silence on 2022 National General election .This write up is an observation analysis only.

Many political analysts view that the former Prime Minister Peter O’Neill reminds the best contender for the Prime Minister post come 2022. Even the current member of Parliament allied with top political brains.

For this very reason, the government of James Marape is closing Parliament sittings at his will when the idea of vote of no confidence is discussed within the corridor of Waigani.

Hon. Peter O’Neill was not interested for an alternative Prime Minister, because so many unqualified candidates like current deputy prime minister Hon. Sam Basil and others wanting to become Prime Minister. He stood back watched them dancing before his eyes, which he knew they will fail.

He is a smartest businessman, a politician and a strategic thinker. However, following behaviors indicates otherwise.

1.PNC party is not actively searching for potential wining candidates for 2022 national general election.

2.He is not actively discussing the National Economic Fiscal Policies. There are no major political parties currently showing interest to partner with PNC party come 2022 to form the new government.

3.He is not actively engaging in Ialibu/Pangia electorate development issues.

4.He is not in government, as such he is not in control of government systems to easily maneuver for PNC party to come home easily.

5.The political landscape in Ialibu/Pangia seat sets to be a challenging for him, and it won’t be easy for him to win in first count like in the past.

6.The current political landscape does not look good for PNC party to form government come 2022.

7.He is not attending to Wania/Pupus murder tribal issues in his electorate. The Wania/Pupu are his strong base how on earth he's letting them down in their bad time.  Even some leaders texting him or calling him, he is not responding.

8.He did not attend to recent death of late Mr. Fred Yakili, a strong man of Hon. Peter O’Neill.

The current government is taking loan more than his government did. The country is deep death trapped. He sees Marape is getting loan for consumption only, he is not investing in economic stimulating activites like infrastructure.

He has achievement lots of things in his electorate, become Prime Minister for eight years and Member of Parliament for twenty years, improved road infrastructure in his electorate as that’s what people demanded him when he first stood for election in 2002.

He printed lots of trademarks in terms of infrastructure development in Papua New Guinea and the nation called him King of infrastructure.

He still has colorful political career record in Papua New Guinea.

 So,

 1.Will he risk his businesses?
2.Will he risk his colorful political career?

Will he tangle his life into deep current government’s loan death trap?

 These are million-kina question!

We think, Hon. Peter O’Neill is thinking deep about his future political career.

This story is developing so will add more as time and events changes.
